The Solar Film family grew recently! Please join us in welcoming Doug Pasquinelli as our new Account Manager. As with every member of Solar Film, Doug has an exceptional ability to bring value to his clients. So why did we choose Doug? And more importantly, why did Doug choose Solar Film?
Doug has a rich background in sales and sales management and seeing large-value projects manifest, from needs identification to complete customer satisfaction. He served in the media and TV advertising industry for about twenty years before deciding it was time for something new. While in media sales, he managed teams of account managers as well. As our company continues to grow, Solar Film looks forward to Doug expanding and training our own business development team. His listening and problem-solving skills are top notch and already proving to be an asset to his clients.
As we noted from his work history, Doug has a rich background in commercial account management. Any business would be lucky to have him join their team. He was looking for an organization that he knows is going to be around for a long time and has an exceptional reputation. There is something special about Solar Film that let Doug know that this is where he can make a difference. Given that Solar Film is a company with less than 50 employees, Doug knows that every team member plays a critical role and is well-respected—and that each client not only deserves extra special attention, but is extremely valuable to the company. He also enjoys the quality and integrity of the companies that manufacture its products. This made Solar Film a perfect fit.
Furthermore, Doug appreciates what window film can do for families and businesses. Not only in terms of helping them preserve their property by slowing the fading process, but also improving their comfort and security. He is especially excited to be part of the effort to improve school safety and the role that safety & security window film plays in that endeavor. His key pursuit is to spread awareness throughout the Central and Eastern Virginia areas about the many solutions that window film provides. In doing so, he will help Solar Film reach its greatest potential while simultaneously helping as many people as possible use window film to find glass-related solutions in sun control, privacy, and security.
Doug is a Pittsburgh native and diehard Steelers fan! He moved to Richmond about 18 years ago with his wife Cari and now has two teenage daughters, Emily and Abby. He enjoys the Richmond restaurant scene, going to movies, and spending time outdoors.
We couldn’t be more thrilled about what’s on the horizon for Solar Film. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our rapid growth, and we look forward to serving many more of you with the help of Doug and our growing team.
