WILL WINDOW FILM AFFECT MY VIEW, CAN YOU SEE THROUGH WINDOW FILM?

You can see through window film. In fact, by the laws of physics, if light passes through one way, it will pass through the other direction, allowing you to see through it. Not only can you see through window film, but some window films will enhance your view of the outdoors. For instance, if your window film reduces glare, it will take the white haze off most of the outdoor appearance. As a result, the color of the sky, trees, and other surroundings will appear more vibrant, and your eye strain will be reduced.

Window Film Visibility Varies Depending on Lighting

It’s important to recognize that the ability to see through window film is also dependent on interior and exterior lighting. For instance, with a highly reflective or tinted film on a sunny day, occupants inside the building will be able to see out clearly, while someone outside will have difficulty seeing in. On the other hand, when it’s nighttime and the lights are on indoors, occupants of the space might have difficulty seeing outdoors because the greatest light source is now indoors. Furthermore, with the lights on, someone outside will likely be able to see inside the space at night.
